Management Board

Lars Schnidrig

Lars Schnidrig is the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Investment Committee of CORESTATE Capital Group. He is responsible for Business Development, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance. He manages the Group's entire Finance Department, Controlling, Accounting and Reporting as well as Taxes and Investment Structuring.

Born in Switzerland, Lars began his professional career in management consulting. He worked for around eight years in international investment banking at HypoVereinsbank and other banks, with stations in London, Paris, Dublin, New York and Munich, before joining today's Vonovia SE (DAX 30) in 2008 as Head of Finance and Treasury. In 2013, he was appointed CFO and Chairman of the Management Board of Vonovia Finance B.V., a financing subsidiary based in Amsterdam. His responsibilities there included Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Human Resources, Taxes and Compliance.

Lars holds a Master in Economics of the University of Freiburg, a Master in Law (LL.M.) of the University of Münster, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) of the OU Business School in Great Britain.

Thomas Landschreiber

Thomas Landschreiber is Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of CORESTATE Capital Group and a member of its Investment Committee. Thomas has direct responsibility for deal sourcing, acquisition structuring, transaction execution and asset disposals.

Thomas has 27 years of real estate experience in funds and structuring acquisitions and disposals of commercial and residential assets. Prior to CORESTATE, Thomas worked as Vice President in the real estate team of the Cerberus Group in Frankfurt, where he was responsible for due diligence and advised on acquisitions, asset management and sales.

Prior to this, Thomas was a Sales Manager for a leading initiator of listed buildings, focusing on structuring disposals of commercial portfolios as well as sales coordination and conceptual design of real estate products. Thomas also worked for 9 years for HVB AG dealing with real estate financing of large portfolios.

Micha Blattmann, VdA

Micha Blattmann, VdA

Micha Blattmann (1973), chairman of the Supervisory Board since September 2015, is admitted and practising lawyer. He is also partner at the private debt specialist Vicenda Asset Management AG, Zug with focus on alternative financing transactions and private debt investments.

Micha previously held various positions within capital markets divisions of international investment banks, including senior advisor of the Strategic Cross Asset Solutions Group of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and senior advisor of the Equity and Commodity Risk Management Team for institutional clients of UBS AG. He previously worked as lawyer at Bär & Karrer and Andersen Legal.

Micha holds a licentiate of law of the University of Zurich and a master of laws (LL.M.) of University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law. Micha is admitted lawyer of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland.

Ulrich Plett, MdA

Ulrich Plett, MdA

Ulrich Plett (1957) has over 35 years experience in the audit sector. Ulrich was partner from 1991 to 2015 at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in the Barcelona and Berlin office and headed the assurance department of Ernst & Young, most recently as managing office partner of the Berlin office of Ernst & Young. Prior, he worked in the Barcelona, Hamburg and Chicago offices of Arthur Andersen from 1980 to 1993. Ulrich’s experience is primarily focused on publicly listed corporations, family businesses and governmental owned companies. Since July, 2015 he is self employed advisor at “UPW7 GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft”. Ulrich holds a degree in Economics from the University of Munich and is tax advisor and certified public accountant. Ulrich is member of the Supervisory Board of CORESTATE Capital Group since September 2015.

Dr. jur. Urs Felder, MdA

Dr. jur. Urs Felder (1959) is self-employed accounting and tax advisor and founder and chief executive officer at FELUR Swiss Treuhand AG, Zurich since 2008. Prior he was senior partner and head of the tax department at TREUCO AG, Zurich from 1998 to 2007. From 1992 to 1998 Urs worked in the tax department of UBS AG, Zurich. From 1989 to 1992 he worked as accountant and tax advisor, specialized in tax matters. Urs graduated with a law degree from University of Bern and obtained a Ph.D. (Dr. iur.) from University of Freiburg (Switzerland) as well as the certificate as Swiss certified tax expert. Since September 2015 Urs is a member of the Supervisory Board of CORESTATE Capital Group.

Ralph Winter

Ralph Winter is the Founder and Senior Advisor of CORESTATE Capital Group and Chairman of its Investment Committee. Ralph has more than 27 years of industry experience. Ralph has invested more than EUR 7bn in German and European real estate over the period of his career. In 2009, Ralph created W5 Group GmbH, his family office that invests globally in real estate and private equity. Through W5 Group GmbH, Ralph is one of the most active investors in CORESTATEs Club Deals.


Ralphs representative transactions include the landmark acquisition of GSW (EUR 2.1bn) in Berlin, BauBeCon (EUR 1.2bn) in Hannover, numerous distressed real estate portfolios (EUR 0,8bn) and building a retail portfolio of EUR 1bn. Including acquisitions, the companies that are now partn of the CORESTATE Group have generated a transaction volume of more than EUR 34bn and raised equity in the amount of EUR 12bn.

Ralph Winter has extensive contacts within the national and international real estate industry as well as in German politics and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) of the European Business School and the IREBS Immobilienakademie GmbH in Eltville in Rheingau. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of ULI Germany, of the Advisory Board of Jugend gegen AIDS e.V. and of the Board of Directors of Best Buddies, an international non-profit organization dedicated to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 

Daniel Schoch

Daniel Schoch

Senior Advisor

Daniel Schoch is Senior Advisor and responsible for the M&A activities of CORESTATE.
Since 2008 Daniel is part of the CORESTATE Group and acted as CFO until mid-2017.
Prior to CORESTATE, Daniel was the CFO of BauBeCon Group, an integrated real estate platform with EUR 1.2bn AuM. In that role, he coordinated the exit strategy for Cerberus. After the successful sale to Pirelli Re / RREEF, he spearheaded the post-merger activities and led the completion of the acquisition debt financing. Prior to this, he acted as CFO for Carl Zeiss SMT, a leading international semi conductor-equipment manufacturer with revenues of more than EUR 1bn and 2,500 employees worldwide.

In total, Daniel has more than 15 years of experience in senior management positions – both in private equity as well as corporate structures. He has been involved in equity/debt financing of more than EUR 3bn. Daniel holds a German International Betriebswirt from the Business School ISGM, Bad Waldsee, Germany.

Dr. Claude Schmidt

Before joining the Senior Advisory Circle of CORESTATE Capital Group, Dr. Claude Schmidt was a managing director in Private Wealth Management WM at Goldman Sachs Bank AG and member of its Executive Committee.

Until to the end of 2011, Claude was working for 17 years for UBS, of those 8 years as managing director, most recently as co-head of the Global Family Office Group in EMEA for UBS WM. Before that, he was co-head of UBS WM International UHNW and the UHNW Institutional Group. Prior to joining UBS WM, Claude held numerous roles within UBS Investment Banking from 1995 to 2009 in Chicago, New York, Zurich and Hong Kong, including European co-head of Structured Derivatives Sales and Investments, as well as European head of Equity and Commodity Risk Management and Investments.

He served on the Board of Directors of Fumapharm AG, a Swiss pharmaceutical company, from 2003 to 2006, until sold to Biogen.

Claude earned a PhD in Accounting and Finance and a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich. Claude speaks German, French, English and basic Russian.

Claude is currently also advising several family offices and UHNWIs in their investment decisions and serves as a member of several board of directors resp. advisory councils.

Gregory Gould

As a Senior Advisor to CORESTATE, Gregory Gould is responsible for capital markets research and strategic development. Gregory Gould was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs until 2006 and Co-Deputy Business Unit Leader of the firm's Global Technology Research Group. Gregory Gould was a member of Institutional Investor's All Star Team, the preeminent survey of sell side research analysts, and top-ranked on the Greenwich, Reuters, and Wall Street Journal surveys.
He led the research effort for the largest IPO’s in the IT Services sector (at the time), including Accenture and MasterCard. Gregory Gould participated in fundraising and other transactions valued in excess of USD50bn.
He advised companies across a broad swath of the tech sector on strategic initiatives, combinations and financing transactions. He has worked closely with the firm's investment banking group on transactions involving companies such as Computer Sciences, Concord EFS, Diamond Technology, Electronic Data Systems, Hewitt Associates, National Data Corp., SABRE, and Sapient. Gregory is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
